Roberto Aguilar, 58, Leesburg, died at 2:22 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1957, in Brownsville, Texas, to Olivia Aguilar, who is deceased. He worked 25 years at RR Donnelly and Sons as a material handler in the west plant pressroom where he met his wife Sheila Collins Aguilar. They would have been married 22 years on May 12, 2016.
Together, they had one child: Joni Corina Aguilar, Leesburg, who survives. He was previously married to: Lisa (Hoover) Lyon; they had three children: Mario Luis Aguilar, Warsaw; Elisabeth Marie Aguilar, Fort Wayne; and Micah Anthony Aguilar, Fort Wayne, all of whom survive. He is also survived by a brother: Roger Aguilar, Warsaw; a sister: Diana Ireta, Houston, Texas; and Lou Bartley, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother: Jose Luis Aguilar; and a sister: Jessica Cuevas.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw.
