Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

1:31 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, South CR 700W, and West SR 25, Warsaw. Drivers: Kyle R. Lovell, 27, P.O. Box, Kewanna, and Tyler L. Smoker, 22, Elizabeth Avenue, Rochester. Lovell backed his vehicle for a turning semi and backed into the Smoker vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

8:27 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, Fisher Avenue and Rozella Road, Warsaw. Driver: Abbey S. Reichert, 26, North Rebecca Street, Claypool. Reichert complained of abdomen/pelvic pain and was transported by private vehicle to the Whitley County Hospital to be checked out due to air bag deployment. Reichert’s vehicle struck an unknown object in the intersection. Police found pieces of metal shelving, fallen from another vehicle, laying in the roadway. Damage up to $10,000
