American Association of University Women representatives recently congratulated two recipients of the American Association of University Women Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund is held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and assists area women in obtaining higher education.

This year’s recipients are Cheryl Bowyer and Tina Mikel. Both women attend Ivy Tech Community College. Bowyer is a sophomore studying early childhood education. She is from Mentone.

Mikel is a Sophomore studying to become a legal assistant. Mikel is from Etna Green.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community. The Community Foundation is a public charity, and gifts made to the foundation are tax-deductible.
