KCH Community Lecture: Causes And Warning Signs Of Heart Disease

WARSAW — Kosciusko Community Hospital is hosting a community lecture about the causes and warning signs of heart disease from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the KCH Health & Wellness Center.

The speaker will be Lauren N. Feasel, BS, clinical exercise physiologist. Cardiologist Katerina Fayn, MD, will be present to answer clinical questions related to cardiac disease management. Fayn is a cardiologist at Northern Lakes Medical Associates in Warsaw and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the US and around one in every four deaths is caused by heart disease. Coronary heart disease is the most common type of heart disease, killing over 370,000 people annually.
