Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:27 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 8280 E. U.S. 30, Pierceton. Drivers: Joshua R. Kaufman, 33, East U.S. 30, Pierceton and Emilie A. Wilkinsen, 18, West Whitley Road, South Whitley. Wilkinsen backed her car into Kaufman’s. Damages up to $2,500. Wilkinsen complained of neck pain, but refused medical treatment.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:44 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, Syracuse Webster Road, north of CR 1050N, Syracuse. Driver: Daniel P. Vandiver, 60, East CR 900N, Syracuse. Deer struck Vandiver’s car mirror. Damages under $750.
