Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:47 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, West CR 1350N and North CR 50W, Milford. Drivers: Thomas B. Sorensen, 61, East CR 1150N, MIlford, and Bryce A. Wuthrich, 17, East CR 1150N, Milford. Sorensen’s snow plow truck collided with Wuthrich’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

8:10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, North CR 300E and Bowser Road, Milford. Driver: Maria Martinez, 38, Old Colony Road, Warsaw. Martinez’s vehicle slid off the road, hit a tree and hit a building. She was issued a citation. Damage up to $50,000.

7:43 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, East US 30 and Matchett Drive, Pierceton. Drivers: Saralee J. Henry-Piper, 57, East Wesley Lane, North Webster, and Citlali Martinez Reyes, 22, St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Henry-Piper pulled out into the road and her vehicle lost traction. Martinez-Reyes’s vehicle slid into it, then went off the road. Henry-Piper was cited for a learner’s permit violation. Citlali complained of pain to the abdomen. A 3-year-old passenger in Citlali’s vehicle complained of shoulder pain. Damage up to $10,000.

7:13 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, South SR 25 north of West CR 200S, Warsaw. Driver: Nathan R. Horn, 19, Birch Road, Mentone. Horn lost control of his vehicle and it hit a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

3:38 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, North SR 15 north of West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver: A Din, 45, West Rudisill Boulevard, Fort Wayne. Din’s vehicle slid into a brick pillar, then a chain link fence. A passenger in Din’s vehicle, Bee Jar, 39, Hessen Cassel Road, Fort Wayne, complained of back pain. Another passenger, Kyaw L. Wee, 38, Guild Drive, Fort Wayne, complained of neck pain. Damage up to $25,000.

10:10 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, South SR 15 south of West CR 350S, Warsaw. Driver: Trenton I. Black, 19, Gable Drive, Warsaw. Black lost control of his vehicle and it slid off the road, striking a tree and sliding down an embankment. Damage up to $5,000.

6:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, West SR 14 east of South CR 500W, Silver Lake. Driver: Candace R. Balke, 34, West Main Street, Silver Lake. Balke became drowsy and her vehicle left the road, hitting a utility pole and a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

4:18 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, East US 30 west of East CR 240S, Warsaw. Drivers: Ashley R. Bowman, 25, Country Forest Drive, Fort Wayne, and Danielle N. Bradford, 25, Glenridge Drive, Fort Wayne. Bowman hit her brakes to avoid a plow truck and her vehicle slid into Bradford’s. Damage up to $5,000.

12:11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, North SR 13 north of East South Barbee Drive, Pierceton. Driver: Alex Jennings, 37, West Catholic Street, Pierceton. Jennings became distracted and lost control of his vehicle, which slid into a ditch. Damage up to $2,500.

11:44 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, South CR 400W north of West CR 100S, Warsaw. Driver: Cody A. Paine, 19, South Woodland Trail, Warsaw. Paine’s vehicle went off the road and hit a tree. Paine was ejected and was transported to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, with bleeding to the face and complaints of neck and back pain. A passenger in Paine’s vehicle, Samantha L. Tolson, 19, West Lafever Street, Ossian, was transported to Lutheran Hospital with complaints of neck pain. Damage up to $5,000.

11:29 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 279 E. CR 250N, Warsaw. Driver: Darin L. Gingerich, 26, North CR 900W, Shipshewana. Gingerich’s vehicle hit the side of the building. Gingerich was arrested on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated. Damage up to $2,500.

2:09 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, West US 30 east of North CR 650W, Warsaw. Driver: Ibrahim A. Tobe, 39, Possum Run Court, Columbus, Ohio. Tobe lost control of his semi-truck and it slid into a ditch. He was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with complaints of neck pain. Damage up to $25,000.

10:54 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, North SR 19 north of West CR 600N, Etna Green. Driver: Natalie S. Abigail, 42, South Main Street, Nappanee. Abigail lost control of her vehicle and it hit a guardrail. Damage up to $2,500.

10:54 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, West Old Road 30 and North CR 525W, Warsaw. Driver: Zachary C. Edmonds, 19, Filbert Road, Tippecanoe. Edmonds lost control of his vehicle and it hit a tree. Damage up to $5,000.

9:10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, West US 30 east of North SR 19, Etna Green. Drivers: Ernesto Carmona, 38, Kinsmoor Avenue, Fort Wayne, and Steven R. Kircher, 53, East Fifth Street, St. Paul, Minn. Carmona attempted to pass a semi driven by Kircher. Carmona lost control of his vehicle and it hit the semi trailer, slid across the median and into the opposite lane. He was issued a citation. Damage up to $10,000.

8:41 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, Backwater Road west of West 21 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Nicholas E. Brown, 35, CR 6, Elkhart. Brown lost control of the vehicle he was driving and it hit a guardrail. He was cited for false or fictitious plates. Damage up to $10,000.

6:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, East Searfoss Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Margo L. Searfoss, 32, East Searfoss Drive, Syracuse. Hit parked car. Damage up to $5,000.

3:12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, West Old Road 30 and North CR 875W, Etna Green. Drivers: Shannon M. Kane, 37, Poplar Street, Warsaw, and Brayden M. Madsen, 21, West Quad Street, Bourbon. Kane proceeded into the intersection and Madsen’s oncoming vehicle hit hers. Madsen complained of wrist pain and a passenger in Madsen’s vehicle, Kaitlyn J. Barham, 21, North Main Street, Bourbon, complained of knee pain. Both declined medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.

4:32 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, North CR 800W south of West CR 900N, Nappanee. Driver: Skyler B. Kuta, 20, East CR 1150N, Milford. Kuta lost control of his vehicle and it left the road and rolled over. Damage up to $10,000.

7:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, East Armstrong Road west of North CR 300E, Leesburg. Driver: Kathleen G. Sands, 21, North CR 200E, Milford. Sands lost control of her vehicle and it hit a tree. Damage up to $5,000.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:05 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, alley west of 108 S. Third St., Pierceton. Driver: Sharon Craft, 47, Norris Court, Columbia City. Hit parked car. Damage up to $5,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:38 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, South Sycamore Street east of South Huntington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Shaylee R. Holcomb, 27, Garden Street, Fort Wayne, and Martha E. Stoelting, 68, North Lake Street, Syracuse. Holcomb’s vehicle rear-ended Stoelting’s at the stop sign. Damage up to $1,000.

10:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 1010 N. Indiana Ave., Syracuse. Drivers: Richard A. Morris, 63, Syracuse, and Glen A. Hershberger, CR 56, Syracuse. Both drivers were backing out of parking spaces and their vehicles collided. Damage up to $1,000.

10:31 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, West Railroad Avenue south of South Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse. Drivers: Joshua K. Hicks, 16, North Mullen Street, Syracuse, and Brian S. Hershberger, 53, East Cardinal Drive, Syracuse. Hicks crossed the tracks and attempted to turn right when his vehicle slid into Hershberger’s. Damage up to $10,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:19 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, South Detroit Street and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Margaret A. Mabon, 28, Hitzler Street, Warsaw, and Alexi R. Perkins, 21, East SR 14, Akron. Mabon’s vehicle slid through the red light and collided with Perkins’s vehicle. Perkins complained of neck and soulder pain and said she would go to Kosciusko Community Hospital to be examined. Damage up to $2,500.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:16 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, Pierceto Road east of Freedom Lane, Pierceton. Driver: Jose D. Baca, 24, East Walnut Street, Akron. Baca’s vehicle slid off the road, hitting brush and a tree. damage up to $10,000.
