Ronald and Arlene Southern, Bristol, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 30.

They were married Aug. 30, 1952, at Grace Methodist Church, Elwood.

They have seven children: Ronda (Craig) Losee, Granger; LouAnne (Donald) Eaton, Bristol; Terha (Dennie) Pernell, Goshen; Ronald Jr. (Leslie) Southern, Goshen; Jim (Sarah) Southern, Syracuse; Lisa (Paul) Focht, Edwardsburg, Mich.; and Brad (Sherri) Southern, Elkhart. They also have 31 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends and family may visit with them at an open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at Boscos Place, 117 S. Fifth St., Goshen.
