FORT WAYNE — Heartland transforms the North Campus Auditorium of the University of St. Francis into a jazz club with  “Old Time Rock And Uptown Funk” at 7 p.m. Feb. 19.

This evening features a vibrant mix of jazz standards and new arrangements for your listening pleasure. Some of the standards that are receiving “Heartland” treatment are: “All The Things You Are,” and “My Funny Valentine.” Also, “I Got You Under My Skin” and “There Will Never Be Another You.”

The group will reinvent songs like “Old Time Rock and Roll,” “Hallelujah,” “Happy” and “Uptown Funk” with fresh jazz arrangements. Come enjoy the full-bodied sound of vocal jazz by the Heartland Vocal Artists.

The singers featured in this performance are: Elizabeth Piercy, Richelle Bock, Elaina Robbins, Betsy Ley, Kristen Miller, Barry Jamison, Mark Phillips, Phil Slane, Jerome Síbulo, Eric Miller and Ian Williams. Joining the Vocal Artists is an instrumental combo, which includes Maestro Robert Nance at the keyboard, bassist, Brad Kuhns and percussionist Tod Ramsey.
