
Christina Alexandria Marie Moren, 17, Walkerton, passed away as a result of an automobile accident Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016.
Christina was born July 30, 1998, the daughter of James and Cherie (Hunsberger) Moren. She is survived by her parents, James (Cherie) Moren, Walkerton; three brothers: Mark (Jessica) Moren, Valparaiso, Lukas (Lindsey) Moren, Nappanee, and Jamie (Hannah) Moren, Walkerton; paternal grandmother, Cathy Jones, Bremen; and paternal step grandmother, Katherine Moren, London, Ky. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews: Landon, Layla, Kyden and Kaya Moren; six aunts; and three uncles.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Fayetta Sauer; paternal grandfather, James Moren; and cousin, David Hunsberger, Jr.
Christina recently attended John Glenn High School and enjoyed playing such sports as soccer, basketball and baseball. She was also in the choir. She loved animals and was aspiring to become a veterinarian. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. She had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She was always willing to help anyone whenever it was needed. She was always there to help take care of the ones she loved, from the family pets to nieces and nephews and, of course, her grandma, Fay, all without asking for anything in return.
She will be loved, missed and remembered forever.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Walkerton Presbyterian Church, Walkerton, with one hour of calling prior to the service. Pastor Tim Davis will officiate.
