State of Women’s Leadership Today
WARSAW — We Inspire Support Empower Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and support of the professional career interests of women, will present, “State of Women’s Leadership Today,” from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Champagne Jam.
This event will be hosted by Alison Martin-Books, CEO of Diverse Talent Strategies, founder of Mentoring Women’s Network and author of “Landing on my Feet: Learning to Lead Through Mentoring.” She will be accompanied by Toni Widman, managing director of Integrated Talent Solutions.
They will review the current trends and statistics as it relates to women in leadership and the tactics needed for advancing women in the workplace. During this highly interactive session, we will discuss and explore the four pillars of what women need to be successful and strategies needed for encouraging a gender diverse workforce. Alison will raffle off an autographed copy of her book. Additional copies will also be available for $12.
Following the presentation, WISE mentorship co-vice presidents Michelle Reedy and DeeAnna Muraski will provide a brief overwiew of the WISE mentorship. There will be ample time for WISE membership and mentorship registration, as well as, additional networking. The event is free for member and nonmembers.
