MISHAWAKA — MutualBank recently promoted James Martindale to vice president, senior commercial banker, manager.

MutualBank added Martindale to the St. Joseph County commercial banking division in 2012.

To benefit the team’s strength, Martindale brought more than 20 years of real-world, business experience and spent the last 10 years in the banking industry as a commercial lender.

Recently, he was promoted to senior commercial banker and manager and oversees the business development efforts for the north region of the Indiana-based bank; this region includes St. Joseph, Elkhart and Kosciusko Counties. Valuing community involvement, Jim is a past president and current board member of the Potawatomi Zoological Society as well as board member of The United Way of St. Joseph County.

Martindale earned his management degree at Bethel College, Mishawaka.
