WABASH — The Whitko girls basketball team went on the road and beat Wabash 59-44 Friday night.

It was the first win against Wabash for the Lady Wildcats since 2008. Junior guard Aly Reiff led the way with 25 points while senior wing Jennifer Reiff was also in double figures with 11 points. Katie McCauley (16 points) and Madison Barden (12 points) led the way for the Apaches.

The Lady Wildcats are now 16-6 on the season, just one win shy of tying the school record (17-6 in 2007-2008).

Whitko will be back in action Saturday night when it hosts Maconaquah.
