Rosemary Lantz, 86, Syracuse, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Millers Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Elkhart County, to Doris and Ruby (Godshalk) Hummel. On Dec. 3, 1949, she married Charles W. Lantz, who survives.

She was a 1947 graduate of Syracuse High School. She enjoyed playing golf at Max Welton Golf Club, Syracuse, and Par-Mor, New Paris.

Rosie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles W. Lantz, Syracuse; two sons, Greg Lantz of Kimmell and Timothy Lantz, Syracuse; one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Robert Lantz.

She was preceded by a brother, Howard Hummel, and a sister, June Lantz.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home with Pastor John Randolph officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
