Ben Jackson, 82, Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at the Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1934, in Flemingsburg, Ky. to Willie and Addie (Smith) Jackson. He retired from Essix Corp. in Marion.

He is survived by his longtime companion: Lois Harrison, Syracuse; one daughter: Linda Morr, New Paris; one son: Robert (Amy) Craig, Marion; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Della Prater, Foxport, Ky.; and Elizabeth Agiaeerson, Delmont, Ala.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Eastlund Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
