WARSAW — In honor of the 150 anniversary of Lewis Carrol’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” Wagon Wheel Jr. will present a show that puts a courtroom spin on the beloved fantasy.

“The Trials of Alice in Wonderland” begins on Jan. 30 and answers the question: “What if Alice’s incredible experiences in Wonderland were put on trial?”

Those interested can see the show on Saturday, Jan. 30, Sunday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, Feb. 7 at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts in Warsaw. All productions start at 2 p.m.

The fast-paced and witty show is set in Wonderland’s courtroom, where Alice is on trial. The Queen of Hearts is the judge, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, and Caterpillar are witnesses, and the jury is a deck of cards! Alice must try to prove her innocence by re-living the events of the adventures we’ve all come to love.

As with all Wagon Wheel Jr. shows, the cast is made up of local actors from grades 2-12. The complete cast list is available at Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts’ web page.

All tickets are available for $12 online or at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts box office.
