Several basketball programs took the court Monday in junior varsity, freshman and middle school action.

In the JV Bi-County games at New Prairie, the Triton boys were victorious 47-32. Beau Hepler led the Trojans with 10 points while Ethan Berry and Caden Marr each finished with eight points. The Triton boys will take on John Glenn Wednesday.

In the JV girls game, New Prairie defeated Triton 42-29. Shayla May and Abigail Powell each scored seven points and Kaitlin Bailey wrapped up her night with six points.

The Northridge freshman boys hoops squad defeated Wawasee Monday evening by a 42-39 count in Syracuse. Aaron Evans led Wawasee with 15 points while Marshall Miller contributed 14 points for the Warriors. Wawasee (5-8) hosts Plymouth Thursday.

The Northridge girls freshman basketball team had little trouble with Wawasee in a 47-22 final score Monday in Syracuse. Sarah Pritchard led the Wawasee attack with 10 points and McKenzie Smith was right behind with six points. The Lady Warriors (4-2) will entertain Plymouth Thursday.

In middle school buckets at Edgewood, the eighth grade boys beat Crestview 45-27 Monday evening. Pacing the Edgewood club were Brian Elliott and Tedros Berelsman with eight points apiece. Wyatt Amiss had seven points and Blake Marsh and Connor Lennox finished with six points each.
