William Edward “Bill” Belk, 77, Culver, died on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at his home with his wife by his side.

Bill was born on Oct. 7, 1938, in Chicago, Ill. where he spent much of his life until he chose to become a full-time resident of his favorite out of the city get-away spot, Culver. Bill will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his very special feline companions Bruno and Zuckie. He was plant manager at Indiana Press/IP Graphics for several years. He was passionate about working on cars.

Bill is survived by his wife: Nina Belk, Culver; daughter: Debi ‘Ona’ (Craig) Belk-Kleinman, Denver; stepdaughters: Cindy (Ken) Teske Jensen, New Paris; and Danyelle (Terry) Teske Hinton, Waterloo, Ala.; grandchildren: Sam and Analise Stein, Denver; step-grandchildren: Darla; T.J.; and Kandy Jensen, New Paris; Shelby (Jeremy) Herban Reeves; Austin and Colin Herban, all of Waterloo, Ala.; and step-great-grandson: Deven Reeves, Waterloo, Ala. He was preceded in death by his father: Elvin Edward Belk; and his mother and stepfather: Helen and Julius Pilitauskas.

A time of visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver. Father Jeff Largent will officiate a Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19,t St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church, Culver with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Culver Masonic
Cemetery. A luncheon will follow burial at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s name to the Marshall Co. Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
