ARGOS – The Lakeland Christian Academy girls basketball team lost 63-9 to host Argos Saturday night.

The Dragons, ranked No. 5 in Class 1-A, led 30-0 after the opening quarter and 42-0 at halftime in the contest.

Carissa Urschalitz led LCA with four points and 10 rebounds.

Rachel Sand had three points to go with six rebounds for the Cougars. Melissa Goss scored two points andHannah Delp had three rebounds for LCA.

Argos has won four in a row since its lone loss, a 53-31 decision at Michigan City Marquette. Senior Valerie Rospopo led the Dragons with 14 points.

LCA plays at Culver Monday night. Argos hosts Class 2-A No. 2 Oregon-Davis (14-2) on Thursday night.
