ELKHART — Your worry-free wedding starts in downtown Elkhart this weekend.

Something New Bridal Event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Crystal Ballroom and Lerner Theatre, 410 S. Main St.

This second annual event showcases Gateway Mile merchants and venues, as well as other top wedding service providers throughout the area.

Anthony Navarro’s keynote in the Lerner Theater kicks off the event at 10 a.m. Navarro, founder of the Liven It Up Events, Chicago, and winner of TLC’s “Four Weddings” show in 2012, will speak on effective ways to use Pinterest in wedding planning.

Local wedding experts from industries will be located in the Crystal Ballroom and the Cittadine Room throughout the ballroom.

Something New concludes at 4 p.m.

Admission will be $5 on the day of the show, but brides and guests can RSVP for free tickets until 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Something New.
