One Gets Away, Four Caught

WARSAW — Four out of five individuals, who allegedly stole approximately $1,600 worth of alcohol early this morning, Wednesday, Jan. 6, were apprehended.

Arrested and booked on initial charges of theft were:

  • Shavondra Demetrios Davis, 25, Fort Wayne
  • Carrington Jamall Hogue, 25, Fort Wayne
  • Lashanea Jerleen Schimman, 24, Fort Wayne
  • Timothy Lewis Wilson Jr., 19, Fort Wayne.

Houge was additionally booked on a warrant out of Allen County. Their bonds were listed at $600 cash each.

According to Warsaw Police, officials at Meijer notified central dispatch at 1:03 a.m. of five individuals walking out of the store without paying for alcohol. A description of the vehicle was obtained. Officers located the vehicle near Clark and Roosevelt.

After a traffic stop was initiated, the suspects began to flee officers, with four of the five being apprehended.
