SYRACUSE — The Wawasee wrestling team had an acceptable day at its December Super Duals with a 2-3 record.

The Warriors fell to both Northridge and Plymouth in matches that counted towards Northern Lakes Conference standings. Wawasee also dropped a match with Manchester. The Warriors were victorious over John Glenn and Heritage.

Braxton Alexander (113 pounds) and Ronny Shortt (138) were both weight class champions for Wawasee.

The Warriors, now 0-4 in the NLC, will host Goshen on Jan. 12.
