WARSAW — Santa Claus is not just for kids, and he proved it today, Saturday, Dec. 12, when he visited the Retired Tigers apartments in Warsaw.
Retired Tigers, in conjunction with Owen’s Supermarket, hosted the second annual Retired Tigers Christmas party. Owen’s employees and their family members volunteered to bring holiday cheer to the residents with a breakfast and gifts.
Residents sang “Jingle Bells” as Santa Claus entered the room, asking who had been naughty and who had been nice. Playing along, some residents shouted out, “I’ve been nice,” while others mischievously said, “I’ve been naughty!”
Everyone received a gift, regardless.
The atmosphere was merry as some residents sat on Santa’s lap and everyone received a gift bag with a blanket, coffee mug, card and goodies.
For residents who could not attend, Owen’s Manager Kris Johnson said, employees and volunteers hand-delivered gift bags to their rooms.
