
Vasantha Methuselah, 76, Warsaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 in Lutheran Hospital of Indiana.
She was born in Kakinada, India Oct. 9, 1939 to Samuel and Nava (Devanandam) Rogers. Vasantha was united in marriage to Mani Methuselah May 16, 1962 in India. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2009.
Vasantha moved to Warsaw in 1968 to attend graduate school. She received her degree in finance and she was a teacher in India. She had a heart for missions and children and gave her life in service to the Lord by working with both. Vasantha attended Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Vasantha is survived by two sons, Samuel (Amy) Methuselah, Denver, Colo.; and Daniel Methuselah, Columbia, S.C.; her daughter, Phebe Methuselah, Portage, Michigan; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Ana and Sarah; two brothers, Enoch (and spouse Kamala) Rogers, San Francisco, California, Moses (and spouse Sheila) Rogers, Turlock, California and her sister, Beulah (and spouse Suvarna) Rao, Warsaw.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 in Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Dr. Erik Ohman and Pastor Rob Harrison officiating.. A private graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Visitation hours will be held from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Vasantha’s name to be given to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 3309 W. 96th Street, Indianapolis.
