ALBION — The Whitko boys basketball team saw its two-game winning streak abruptly stopped Tuesday night. The Wildcats traveled to Central Noble and were defeated 70-60 by the Cougars.

Whitko was led by 23 points from Nate Walpole. River West had 19 points. Devon Adkins and Tanner Gaff had 11 and seven points, respectively. Gaff tallied nine rebounds to Adkins’ seven. Walpole also had eight assists.

Whitko (2-2) will play at West Noble Thursday night and at Wawasee on Saturday. Ink Free News will have full coverage of both games.
