Terry D. Enyeart, 75, Wabash, died at 6:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Wellbrooke of Wabash. He was born Dec. 30, 1939, in Wabash to Ralph F. “Bunk” and Amy (Ball) Enyeart.
Terry was a 1958 graduate of Wabash High School. He married Julie Walter on Aug. 29, 1959, in Asheville, N.C. He retired from Quality Electric in Wabash in 2005 as the Office Manager. He was a member of the St. Matthews United Church of Christ, the Elks Lodge, the Moose Lodge, and the F.O.P. all of Wabash. Terry’s favorite activity was fishing, his dream job was being a fishing guide in Canada at Lake of the Woods, and his favorite hobby was planning his next fishing trip. He had a wonderful sense of humor. One of the funny times was “paw-paw” fishing with six grandkids, from ages two to seven years, with rods, lines, and bait all at the same time.
He is survived by his wife: Julie Enyeart, Wabash; four children: Jeffrey D. Enyeart, Chicago, Ill.; Thomas D. ‘Chops’ Enyeart, Wabash; T. Blake (Carol) Enyeart, Lukens Lake; and Nicole (David) Rodecap, Auburn; seven grandchildren: Teca (Nick) Slone; Jaclyn Dove, Auburn; Jessica Enyeart, Milwaukee, Wis.; Austin Enyeart, Ariz.; Dylan Enyeart, Mich.; Sydney Enyeart, Indianapolis; and Spencer Enyeart, Lukens Lake; five great-grandchildren; and his sister: Becky (Fred) Sinclair, New Haven. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Lissa L. Enyeart; grandson: Alexander R. Rodecap; sister: Alice Fulton; and brother-in-law: Jack Fulton.
There will be a Celebration of Life Fish Fry for Terry, from 3-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, at the Wabash Elks Lodge, Wabash. Bring a funny story. Preferred memorial is Kids Hope of Wabash.
