Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

532 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, East CR 1300N west of North CR 250E, Milford. Driver: Derick A. Herendeen, 46, East CR 1300N, Milford. Herendeen swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle and his vehicle left the road, hit tow mailboxes and flipped. Herendeen agreed to submit to a blood test. Medics treated Herendeen at the scene for a laceration to his right ear, then transported him to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment and a blood draw. Results of the blood draw are pending. Damage up to $5,000.

7:31 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, North SR 13 and East CR 900N, Syracuse. Driver: Benjamin E. Canfield, 67, North Hickory Street, North Webster, Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

11:20 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, West CR 1350N and North CR 950W, Nappanee. Drivers: Patti J. Crothers, 62, Pam Drive, South Bend, and Timothy J. Kuhns, 22, Stonewall Court, Nappanee. Crothers pulled into Kuhns’s path and their vehicles collided. Kuhns also struck a business sign and a fence. Damage up to $25,000.

10:11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, West CR 600N west of North Old 15, Leesburg. Driver: Stephen P. Yann, 60, West CR 150S, Larwill. Backed into parked car. Damage up to $2,500.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:02 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, North East Wawasee Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Brian P. Tarnowski, 26, East 531N, Roanoke. Hit electric pole. Damage up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:43 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, Lake City Highway east of CR 250E, Warsaw. Drivers: Kenneth E. Aguilar, 51, East Center Street, Warsaw, and Machell A. Johnson, 53, Covington Manor Farms Road, Fort Wayne. A vehicle struck Aguilar’s vehicle from behind, pushing it forward into Johnson’s vehicle. The driver of the first car drove away. Damage up to $2,500.
