WARSAW – Withstanding the punch of a quality opponent, Warsaw took care of Fort Wayne Carroll, 48-38, in boys freshman hoops Wednesday night at Warsaw.

The Tigers were clutch at the line, hitting 16 of 20 attempts in the game. Leading the scoring charge against the Chargers was Nolan Groninger with 17 points. Jaylen Reese scored 12 points and Tyler Metzger dropping in 10 points.

The Tigers are 2-0 on the season and will host another powerful Allen County opponent when Homestead comes calling.
