LONDON, ENGL. — Sometimes the best place to hide is in plain sight.

Adele decided to take that very approach to surprise some of her fans as part of a stunt with popular BBC host Graham Norton. She “auditioned” for a position as an Adele impersonator while in disguise as a nanny named “Jenny.”

She was the last to audition, while the rest of her opponents — and fans — were in the audience. One by one, as she sang her rendition of “To Make You Feel My Love,” the other impersonators realized it was actually her.

Adele’s much anticipated “25” album went on sale Friday.

According to Billboard magazine, it sold 900,000 copies on iTunes on its first day of release.

The album could go on to sell 2.5 million copies in its first week, which would break NSYNC’s long-standing record.

The former boy band’s “No Strings Attached” is currently the only album to sell more than 2 million copies in a single week.
