Brenten Layne passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015. He is the son of Adam and Lisa Harrington (Miller) of Rochester.
Brenten, who was loved by many and will be missed by all. Your life here on earth was brief, but the memories of you will last forever. From your beautiful blue eyes, your amazing big smile, your adorable little laugh, your cute little elf ears (courtesy of dad), and your bright red hair (thanks again dad). You were such a “happy-go-lucky” little boy. We would sing to you while you smiled back at us, you who wanted to sit up during brother’s basketball games and yell at them with us, you who loved to be held and snuggled with. You were such a happy baby who loved being with your brothers, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents and all of the family friends. From birth you had a beautiful smile and something to tell us. Your sweet voice and beautiful smile will always be missed. Brenten we know that God had a plan for you, and that one day we will meet up again in Heaven, but until that day the bright sun light that shines into our home is a reminder of you, what a bright light you were in our lives. Brenten Harrington, you will forever be missed.
Brenten is survived by his parents: Adam and Lisa Harrington; sister: Shea; brothers: Aiden and Braden; grandparents: Brent and Susan Tobin, Greentown; James and Virginia Harrington, Culver; John and Joyce Miller, Brooksville; great-grandma: Kay Einheistra, Winamac; godparents: Heather and Cole Shepherd; special friends: Roberta Craft, Noblesville; and Joel and Michelle Craft, Francesville; as well as many aunts; uncles; cousins; and tons of family friends.
