Raymond W. Boardman, 75, Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at his residence.

On June 20, 1940, Ray was born in Aurora, Ill. to George and Ellen Woolley Boardman. He was the oldest of four children sharing his childhood with a sister and two brothers. In 1958, he graduated from Buffalo High School of Buffalo, Indiana. Ray moved to the Rochester community in 1998, coming from Goshen.

Ray is lovingly survived by his daughter: Clara Boardman, South Bend; two sons: Raymond C. (Ellen) Boardman, Rochester; and Allen Boardman, Altoona, Pa.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister: Ruth (Dick) Buis, Indianapolis; two brothers: Frank (Marilyn) Boardman, Winamac; Royce (Connie) Boardman, Buffalo; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Ray in death are his parents and an infant daughter: Rogina Boardman.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at Good Family Funeral Home. The service will be after at 2 p.m. Sunday. Pastor Buck Padilla will officiate services.
