Mary Louise (Andrews) Correll, 82, Argos, died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Mary was born on March 17, 1933, in Argos, to Thomas A. Andrews and Martha (Byers) Andrews and had spent most of her life in the Argos Community.

In July of 1971 she married Bruce Correll in Culver. She had worked at Subway in Argos. Mary attended Argos High School. She was very active in her community and had volunteered numerous hours. Mary served on the Argos Town Council from 2004 to July 2009 and was the Vice President in 2007 and 2008. Mary also served on the Maple Grove Cemetery Board in 2013 to 2014, and because of health issues step down.

Mary is survived by her husband: Bruce Correll; daughter: Michelle Ann Janette (Craig) Sentz, Argos; sons: Steven Pennington, Culver; Charles Paul (Di-an) Pennington, Granger; and David Lee (Rita) Pennington, Argos; Calvin Blaine (Pamela) Pennington, Montpelier; and Bradley L. (Cherl) Pennington, Plymouth; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Leila (Carl) Denny, North Liberty; Shirley (Herbert) Stevens, Argos; brothers: Jerry (Janet) Andrews, Rochester; Doug (Lynn) Andrews, Argos. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Clarence Paul Pennington; son: Dale Allen Pennington; daughter: Pamela Kay Pennington; brothers: Thomas Andrews; Michael Andrews; and Larry Andrews; and sister: Linda Howard.

Burial will take place at a later date at the Richland Center I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Argos. Earl Grossman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
