Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

6:40 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, West CR 100S east of South CR 800W, Warsaw. Driver: Andrew I. Bolinger, 19, South Palestine Lane, Warsaw. Hit deer. Bolinger was treated for complaints of chest pain. Damage up to $5,000.

9:04 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, Rozella Road and South Logan Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Donna M. Hahn, 89, Chinworth Court, Warsaw, and Richard W. Jones, 67, South CR 750W, Claypool. Hahn pulled into the path of Jones’s oncoming vehicle and they collided. Damage up to $25,000.

7:25 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, South County Farm Road north of East CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Driver: Ryan D. Beatty, 20, North CR 425W, Rochester. A deer ran into Beatty’s car. Damage up to $2,500.

6:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, South CR 1000W south of West CR 700S, Mentone. Driver: Susan E. Fisher, 58, South CR 1300E, Akron. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

4:17 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, North CR 675E south of East CR 650N, North Webster. Driver: Logan D. Bowers, 17, EMS B18 Lane, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

8:21 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, East Armstrong Road and North CR 200E, Leesburg. Drivers: Ana G. Melendrez Hernandez, 21, Wooster Road, Warsaw, and Patricia S. McClintock, 51, North Henry Street, Milford. Melendrez Hernandez’s vehicle went through the stop sign and her vehicle collided with McClintock’s. Damage up to $25,000.

7 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, North CR 150W and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert A. Firestone, 39, South Main Street, Bourbon, Teresa J. Shoemaker, 33, East CR 250S, Pierceton, and Benjamin R. Blair, 43, West Elm Street, North Liberty. While crossing U.S. 30, Blair braked to miss a semi that had run the stop light. Shoemaker’s vehicle rear-ended Blair’s and Firestone’s vehicle rear-ended Shoemaker’s. Damage up to $25,000.

Mentone

Officers with the Mentone Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 309 E. Main St. Mentone. Driver: Dallas J. Stouder, 81, 18th Road, Tippecanoe. Hit parked car. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, South Buffalo Street south of East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Alexis C. Gerkin, 18, Widaman Street, Winona Lake, Neil H. Kaiser, 44, East CR 700N Road, Pana, ILl., and Lakota K. Click, 17, West Lovetts Lane, Warsaw. Gerkin became distracted and rear-ended Kaiser’s vehicle, which had stopped after rear-ending Lovetts’s vehicle. The second collision caused Kaiser’s vehicle to hit Lovetts’s again. Gerkin was treated for complaints of pain to her lower leg and foot. Damage up to $2,500.
