Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

9:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, South SR 15 south of West CR 550S, Warsaw. Driver: Michael S. Gardner, 40, West CR 700N, Culver. Rolled vehicle. Gardner and a passenger fled on foot but were caught. Both had alcohol in their systems and the vehicle was confirmed stolen from Tennessee. Damage up to $5,000.

8:46 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, Defreese Road west of EMS D18 Lane, Milford. Driver: Marilyn J. Yoder, 76, EMS D18 A1 Lane, Syracuse. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:06 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, East US 30 east of CR 250S, Pierceton. Driver: Debra L. Bobik-Thomas, 58, Hickory Street, Walkerton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
