
WARSAW — Police have arrested a Syracuse resident on preliminary charges of dealing a schedule I, II or III controlled substance.
Charges were filed Oct. 20 against Samantha Deanne Evett, 201 E. Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse. According to court documents around May 13, Evett sold 20 Adderall pills, a total of 5.1 grams, to an individual who met with her in a vehicle outside Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Evett also allegedly asked if the individual wished to purchase Xanax.
Police arrested Evett on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Booking information shows an address of 124 1/2 N. Jefferson St., Cromwell. She is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $15,000 surety and $250 cash bond.
