MENTONE — Upcoming events and news from the Bell Memorial Library include:
CPR Class
Statistics prove that if more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved. CPR can double, or even triple, a victim’s chance of survival. If you are interested in learning this lifesaving technique, sign up for this two hour class at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12. You will receive certification when you complete the class.

Make Christmas Cards
Do you enjoy making your own cards or would like to learn how? Join us at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. We have two cards to choose from or make them both. Cost is $1.50 for each card.
Learn How to French Braid
Learn how to french braid at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. This program is open to all ages. Bring someone to practice on and your own brushes, combs, mirror, and hair ties. Shelly Kohls, Rochester, will be our instructor.

Boy’s and Girl’s Night will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19. This program is for kids age 7 to 13. Join us for a night filled with crafts, cooking, and other fun stuff.
Our children’s story times have changed. They are now held at 3 p.m. Wednesdays, and at 10 a.m. the first and third Saturday each month. Don’t forget our Lego Club, too, held at 1 p.m. the third Saturday of each month.
For teens, we have anime movie night at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27. Bring your Pokemon cards, too. Teen gaming night will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, because of Thanksgiving, instead of the last Thursday of the month. Our reading club is starting again. This program is for kids and teens ages 10 and up, and will be held from 4-5, Friday, Nov. 13, and Friday, Nov. 27. Younger kids who are reading beyond their grade level are also welcome.
Adult movie matinee is at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16. We will be viewing the movie “The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.” Refreshments will be provided.
Zumba at Bell Library at 7 p.m. Monday evenings. There is a $3 donation per person per class. For more info follow Zumba and Hip Hop Classes on Facebook.
Euchre at the library is at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23. Coffee will be provided but please bring your own snacks and drinks. There will be prizes for the highest score, the most loners, and a booby prize. Come join the fun.
Are you a quilter or are you interested in learning how to quilt? Come to our quilting club. We meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16. You can bring any project you would like to work on. We also have 12 sewing machines available to use.
