Peggy Joe Holloway, Warsaw, passed away at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, at the age of 83.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a member of Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, Winona Lake. Peggy retired after 40 years with United Telephone Company where she worked as a settlement supervisor.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1932, to Joseph F. Sanburn Sr. and Isabella (May) Sanburn. On May 3, 1969 she was married to Luther E. Holloway, who passed away on Dec. 23, 1987.
She leaves behind two sons: Gary L. (Becky) Holloway, Syracuse; Dennis E. (Sandy) Holloway, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her brother: Joseph Sanburn Jr., Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and one daughter.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m.Saturday, Nov. 7, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Paul Parker. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, Winona Lake, and would be appreciated by her family.
