Jeanne K. Mishler, 71, New Paris, died 4:56 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at the home of her daughter, Cowizetta, surrounded by family. She was born March 19, 1944 in Goshen to Fredrick A. and Iva (Greenawalt) Ritter. She married David M. Mishler on May 26, 1961, in New Paris and he died Nov. 28, 2000.

Surviving are a fiancé: Mike L. Decker, New Paris; daughters: Cowizetta (Brian) Cripe, Syracuse; Lynetta (Richard) Martin, Elkhart; Joetta (Steve) Johnson, Grayling, Mich.; son: Keith (Mary) Mishler, Benton; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; mother: Iva Ritter, Goshen; and a brother: Carl (Janice) Ritter, Goshen. Preceding her in death are father; husband; and a brother: Gary Ritter.

Jeanne worked at the Farmer’s Exchange, New Paris and Foamcraft, Goshen. She was a member of the Bridge of Hope Church, Goshen, and a former Girl Scout Leader in New Paris.

Visitation will be 12-3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, with the service following at 3 p.m. all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen. Rev. Lenny Krebs will officiate and burial will be in New Paris Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
