Carolyn S. McDorman, 73, of Milford passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart. She was born Oct. 28, 1941, in Antwerp, Ohio, to Gilbert and Anna Marie (Sites) Sesler.

She worked at Chore-Time Brock.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Darrell Bender, Milford; Anita (Dale) McDorman; HazelGerken, both of Antwerp, Ohio; Gilbert (Brenda) Bender, Cromwell; David (Kim) Bender, Hicksville; Robert (Dawn) Bender, Milford; and Debra (Rich) Fraley, Antwerp, Ohio; three stepchildren; Theresa (Butch) Caryer, Paulding, Ohio; Karen (John) Hoover, Continental, Ohio; and Dale McDorman; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two brothers: David (Brenda) Sesler, Edgerton, Ohio; Larry (Linda) Sesler, Bryan, Ohio; one sister: Karen (Roger) Gardner, Eden, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands: Ron Bender; and Dale McDorman; sisters: Ruth Ann and Nancy; and brothers Jerry Sesler and Terry Sesler.

A celebration of life memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the First Brethren Church, Milford, with Pastor Lee officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to family. Mishler Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
