Marsha Marie (All) CaldwellMarsha Marie (All) Caldwell of Warsaw, passed away at her residence at 4:19 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 68. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in January of 2011 and beat the odds, living with this aggressive disease for over four years. Pancreatic Cancer did not defeat Marsha, it only took her life; her generosity of spirit and faith in Christ will continue to thrive in all the people she touched throughout her life.

She was born on Oct. 30 1946, in Terre Haute, to the late Edward and Helen (Ryan) All. Marsha graduated from St. Patrick’s Catholic Elementary School, Paul C. Schulte High School, and received her MA in Education from Indiana State University, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.

Marsha taught at Perry Meridian Grade School in Indianapolis (1969), Northwood High School from 1972-1977, and after a 17 year break to raise her three children she returned to NorthWood to serve as Academic Director from 1992-2005. Everywhere Marsha went she made life-long meaningful relationships which contributed to the overall theme of her life, a supreme love and care for others.

She loved her church, Sacred Heart, in Warsaw. She cherished her time with her family. Because of her many relationships she spent a great deal of time on the phone, staying in touch with the people she loved. She loved early morning “coffee talk” with her husband and her children, family, and friends. When asked by her daughter Courtney why she became best friends with everyone she met, her answer was “maybe they don’t have a best friend.” Despite living a life filled with physical illness and disability, Marsha was determined to carry those around her, reminding them that everything is cured by Christ.

Marsha was married on June 14, 1969 to David N. Caldwell, her LOML (love of my life) for 46 years, he survives in Warsaw. She was a loving mother to her three children: Courtney Ann Caldwell, Chicago, Ill.; James Ryan Caldwell, New York, N.Y.; and Molly (Jeff) Caldwell Polak, Cleveland, Ohio; her two sisters: Marge (John) Crisp, Emmaus, Penn.; Mary Lynn Gettig, Hummelstown, Pa.; her brother: Edward All, Terre Haute; and brother-in-law: John (Carol) Caldwell, West Lafayette. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and great-nices and nephews as well. She was preceded in death her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. There will also be time for visitation an hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, October 31. Her memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and celebrated by Father Phil DeVolder. Burial will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Terre Haute. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Manhattan Beach, Calif., or donate online at pancan.org.
