ELKHART — Our home may be a place to relax, to retreat from stresses in our environment, to join in activities or to work. Planning our surroundings to meet needs begins with trying to understand how color affects us.

Color may affect what we appear to see, our emotions, and even our safety, but do we really understand it? This program will address the idea of choosing color to satisfy our physical and emotional needs within our environment.

Join the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers for this free, educational program presented by Purdue University Extension Educator Ashley Dixon from St. Joseph County. This program is being offered at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Purdue Extension Elkhart County office, located on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.

If you would like to join us for the program, please pre-register by calling the Extension Office at (574) 533-0554. This program and all programs of the Purdue University Extension Service are open to everyone. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, please contact Mary Ann Lienhart Cross, County Extension Director, at the above mentioned number.
