TIPPECANOE TOWNSHIP — North Webster Fire Department has requested tanker assist and grass trucks from Leesburg, Winona Lake and Pierceton fire departments to a bean field and combine fire. Turkey Creek Fire Department has been put on standby for North Webster Fire Department.

Fire units are responding to the area of CR 300N and CR 475E, south of the Barbee Chains, in Tippecanoe Township.

North Webster Fire Chief Jeremy Likens stated the cause is not yet known.
