Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

4:26 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, South SR 19 and West CR 600S, Mentone. Drivers: Carol S. Kindig, 76, West CR 700S, Mentone, and Steven J. Conaway, 30, North Morgan Street, Mentone. Kindig was driving a school bus and pulled out in front of Conaway at a two-way stop and his vehicle collided with the school bus. Conaway was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with minor bleeding to the head. A student on board the school bus also complained of minor bleeding. Damage up to $25,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:09 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, North CR 100E and East CR 300N, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeremiah T. Dilley, 16, North Aspen Drive, Warsaw, and Michael L. Ferguson, 66, East Center Street, Warsaw. Dilley turned into the path of Ferguson’s school bus, which collided with Dilley’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
