NEW PARIS — Timothy Furney, 20, whose last known address was 72622 CR 133, Syracuse, was killed Monday evening, Oct. 12, when he walked into the path of an oncoming train.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. in the 67000 block of CR 23, New Paris.

No further information has been released by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
