Triton Students Celebrate ‘Grandperson’ Day

BOURBON — Triton Community School Corporation held Grandperson/VIP Day Friday, Oct. 9.

More than 500 guests joined Triton Elementary School for lunch and snapshot of students’ classrooms and learning environments.

“I am so proud of TES students and staff  as they displayed Trojan Pride by showing outstanding hospitality and customer service,” Superintendent, Donna Burroughs, said. “Thank you grandparents and VIPs for your support of Triton Elementary School and our many academics and extra curricular programs.”

Meanwhile, students at Triton Jr.-Sr. High School performed for their special guests. The High School band and choir performed in the auditorium. The FFA chapter provided a special lunch for the students’ guests and the staff.
