Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:48 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, South SR 25 south of West CR 250S, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas R. Puckett, 28, South Union Street, Warsaw. Puckett ran off the road while going around a curve. He was transported to the hospital with abrasions to his leg. Damage up to $5,000.

6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, East CR 1200N east of Syracuse-Webster Road, Syracuse. Driver: Erica L. Hufnagle, 23, East Excalibur Place, Cromwell. Hufnagle ran her vehicle off the road, damaging a fence. She was cited for leaving the scene. Damage up to $25,000.

7:18 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2710 E CR 800S, Claypool. Driver: Larry A. King, 34, East Esche Drive, Newburgh. Hit parked car. Damage up to $5,000.

5:20 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, East CR 650S and South CR 700E, Pierceton. Driver: Bryan Treible, 75, South CR 775E, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents.

8:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, Walton Boulevard and Jaylynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: William D. Sadler, 98, Sunset Drive, Warsaw, and Derek E. Eicher, 21, Brookside Manor, Goshen. While stopping at a stop sign, Sadler drove up onto the curb. As he attempted to back off, his vehicle collided with Eicher’s. Damage up to $2,500.

1:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, North Detroit Street and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Derrick L. Cunningham, 20, East Norht Street, Akron, and James M. Hackworth, 22, South Detroit Street, Warsaw. While Cunningham was making a lefthand turn, Hackworth’s vehicle collided with his. A passenger in Cunningham’s vehicle, Ariel K. Schoettmer, 19, West CR 850S, Claypool, was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with complaints of pain. Damage up to $10,000.

12:26 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, Lake City Highway and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Phyllis Stauffer, 81, Sunset Drive, Winona Lake, and Mark D. Novack, 47, Bunker Hill, South Elgin, Ill. Stauffer pulled out onto U.S. 30 and her vehicle collided with Novack’s. Damage up to $25,000.

12:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, Fort Wayne Street west of Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Dale W. Byrer, 91, North Williamson Drive, Warsaw, and Kristin M. Ditton, 22, North Zimmer Road, Warsaw. While Byrer was proceeding through a stop sign, his vehicle rear-ended Ditton’s. Damage up to $5,000.
