Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

6:23 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, Lake City Highway and East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Jay J. Conley, 43, East CR 500N, Columbia City, and Eric T. Shaw, 19, Spring Street, St. Augustine, Fla. Conley complained of pain to the elbow/lower arm but was not transported. Conley was westbound on his motorcycle when Shaw stopped his vehicle in front of Conley, for a yellow light,. Conley was unable to stop so tried to swerve toward the shoulder, around Shaw’s vehicle, with the left side of the fairing and his left elbow hitting the rear passenger corner of Shaw’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
