WARSAW — Bryan Lee Dawson, 38, North Hartzler Street, Warsaw, entered a plea agreement of guilty to criminal confinement as a level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.

The plea was made at the what was to be the start of a two-day jury trial today, Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Kosciusko Superior Court I.

Dawson had originally pled not guilty to domestic battery, a level 5 felony, which could have carried a sentence of one to six years in jail. A level 6 felony carries a sentence of six months to two and a half years.

Dawson’s plea will be taken under advisement. A plea acceptance and sentencing has been set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29.
