Anthony YorkAnthony T. “Tony” York, 51, of Bremen, died at 6:12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Center for Hospice Care – Hospice Home in South Bend. He was born March 15, 1964, in Wabash, to David A. York and Kathy (Bowman) Hammock.

Tony was a certified welder and a drywall and painting specialist. He was a gifted musician playing the guitar and piano. He volunteered for Youth for Christ and LifeLine.

He is survived by his mother: Kathy Hammock, Roann; three children: Jamey York, Elkhart; Antony (fiancee Brittany Ann Hayes) York, Osceola; and Shawna York, Bremen; his grandson: Benny (fiancee Melinda Garrison) York, Plymouth; five brothers and sisters: Stephanie (Todd) Hersman, Niles; Kimberly (Chris) Stevens, Osceola; Tracy (Jeff) Clark, Elkhart; Jeffery (Carol) York, Cloverdale; and Michael York, Roann. He was preceded in death by his father: David A. York.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, Roann, with Rev. Kurt Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery, Roann. Friends may call 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is Thomas Cellini Huntington’s Disease Foundation, Chicago.
