Frosh Warriors Win Again

The Wawasee freshmen football team was in action Thursday night and picked up a 20-13 win over NorthWood.

Dylan Hepler was money for the Warriors yet again scoring twice against the Panthers. Hepler had a 75-yard punt return for a score as well as a 55-yard receiving score. Steven Hauntz jolted the Warrior defense with a pick-six.

Wawasee Cornered In Loss To Lakeland

The Lakeland boys soccer team escaped with a 2-1 win over Wawasee Thursday evening.

Lakeland scored off a corner kick in the second half to earn the victory. Alex Doll had Wawasee’s goal.

“The boys will bounce back,” said head coach Jordan Sharp.

Wawasee will host Warsaw this Saturday.
