SYRACUSE — No one was injured when a truck, boat and trailer slid into the channel Tuesday in Syracuse.

Syracuse Police were called to the public boat ramp at Medusa and John streets, at 5:02 p.m. after receiving a report of a 1997 Chevrolet, owned by John L. Christner, 1405 N. Workman Drive, Syracuse, slipped into the lake. The vehicles had drifted 25 feet from the boat launch.

According to the investigating officer, the boat and trailer were not damaged. The truck was submerged in approximately 4 feet of water with water entering the cab.
